Dr. Ahsan is an amazing talented doctor. He is passionate about his work and he goes above and beyond to make patient’s experience great. At first, I was very nervous about my knee surgery. I’ve had knee dislocations happen many times and the last one got me to the ER. Dr Ahsan suggested that I have MPFL reconstruction and tibial tubercle osteotomy. These are very serious procedures and a complete recovery takes about a year. Dr Ahsan answered a ton of my questions with patience and positivity. I appreciate his approach because his calmness and professionalism kept me calm and focused on the result, not the surgery itself. The surgery was a success and I am recovering quickly with the help of an amazing physical therapist. 3 month out I am walking, I was able to travel twice and yesterday I went back to the gym. The surgery was a challenge for me, but I am looking forward to what’s coming next. I will be able to do any workout, ride a bike and run without being worried about my knee all the time. I have absolutely no regret that I trusted Dr Ahsan with this surgery and I am thankful for everything he did for me.

Dr. Ahsan was incredible to work with. I was met with many obstacles during my recovery from knee surgery, in November. From Covid 19 to Kidney stones, Dr. Ahsan was supportive every step of the way. I was referred to Dr. Ahsan for my daughter’s ACL surgery back in January and I couldn’t have been happier with his expertise, bedside manners, follow up, organization and 100% accessibility to him whenever I had a question. My daughter is 3 months out and is doing better than we expected. Once my daughter recovered I went to him for my torn rotator cuff and again he went above and beyond – I am 6 weeks out and feel great! I know by the end of this I will be at 100%. Dr. Ahsan and his entire staff are phenomenal. He’s got a great personality and genuinely cares for his patients. After breaking my leg in February, he took the time to show my wife and I all the x-rays and explain both options; non-surgical and surgical. Selecting surgery was my best option for recovery. His staff took care of every detail in preparation. I was amazed at how quickly and smoothly everything happened. Surgery was smooth. He made time to take photos throughout the procedure for my daughter who is interested in medicine. A couple of post op visits and my incision is barely visible; quite a feat given it’s almost 12”. I too was referred to Dr. Ahsan by my primary care physician for problems I was having with my shoulders. I trust my PCP to send me to the best specialists and he is right! From the moment I met Dr. Ahsan, he was positive, upbeat and enthusiastic. He is an outstanding listener. He tailors his entire treatment plan from pre-surgery through post-surgery therapy, to meet the needs of the individual patient. He takes the time that is necessary to explain everything to you at anytime, in easy to understand layman’s terminology. He uses sketches and models to aid in discussions where necessary. He is a highly skilled surgeon and was trained under today’s finest surgeons. He takes the time to put into place the best practices throughout all of the phases of treatment while under his care and he never takes shortcuts. He truly cares about his patients and their progress and follows up with them regularly. Once you meet him, you will know immediately that he truly loves his work as well as his patients. I could not be more pleased with my outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Zahab Ahsan!

My experience with Dr. Ahsan Has been incredible. I Consulted Dr. Ahsan for a tear in my left meniscus. I should start by saying while I was waiting for him before our first visit, he poked his head in to the waiting room, Quickly introduced himself and told me he was briefly behind but would be with me within five minutes….. i’ve never had a doctor care enough to do that. Right from the beginning I knew I was going to be in good hands.
During treatment for my left knee, my right one went and it was worse. Had surgery to repair two major tears in my knee. He did an incredible job explaining things to me before, the day of and after the surgery. he made the technical stuff easy to understand. The personal attention he gave me was beyond what I could’ve imagined. He’s a good doctor, but he’s also just a really good guy.
He catered my post surgery follow ups and always kept my goals and what’s important to me in mind.
I saw him this morning and he removed all my restrictions! The surgery was wildly successful.
If one of my daughters needed my knee or shoulder etc. repaired, Dr. Ahsan is 100% the guy that I would go back to. I could not recommend him to whoever is reading this review more. Just call him and set an appointment!! I have no doubt that you will see what I see. 😊
